We are using SAP PO with SOAP (Axis) Adapter for our SF/SAP integration (only implementing LMS at this stage).
The interface will be triggered by a batch program in the SAP system which will send data to PO via webservice on a nightly basis. I am wondering how errors that occurred during the interface can be monitored. It seems that we must go to the background job log or the webDynpro to review interface errors. I would like to know how other clients monitor SAP -> SF integration. Is it possible for SAP to send notifications with the integration status i.e. records successful and records failed with error reasons?
We would also like to find out how and where can we store a fixed email address to receive notifications on import status from SF once data are loaded i. i.e. successful vs failed rejected records and error reasons. Should this email address be configured within SAP? Or SF?
